• GAIL TO BE ON FOOD NETWORK •


- I arrived in LA at 5 pm on Saturday and headed to the downtown Sheraton Hotel which served as HQ for the weekend. After a challenging week multi tasking, I was beat when I arrived at the hotel and actually was in bed asleep Saturday night at 8:30 pm Pacific time. Of course, I had a 5 a.m. wake up call Sunday morning to be ready to roll tape at approximately 6 a.m. for the Food Network's "Dinner Impossible" program that will air, as I understand it, in November. I will keep every one posted as to the exact date. I had a great time stepping sort of out of the wrestling world and was assigned to make multiple gallons of BBQ Sauce which I did and that everyone seemed to love. The Miz was a riot on this shoot and we were also joined later in the morning by Gail Kim who sure looks nice in a kitchen and I mean that in a positive way. Stephanie McMahon and The Big Show also joined in the non kitchen festivites so WWE was well represented. Chef Robert Irvine is a hoot to work with and is a former cook with the British Royal Navy.

"Mayweather Melee" Six Diva Tag Match:
Mickie James, Gail Kim, & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox, & Rosa


Before the commercial break, we see Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and the Divas Champion Mickie James making their way to the stage dressed in Boxer gear for a "Mayweather Melee" Six-Diva Tag Team Match that is coming up after the break.

In the ring after the break are the opposing team of Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes and Beth Phoenix "The Glamazon," awaiting their three opponents. Kelly, Gail and Mickie make their way to the ring as Mickie's music hits, getting a great ovation from the crowd.

The bell is sounded as Beth and Gail start off. Each Diva goes for some shots on each other, but Gail get's the best of Beth. Gail gets an Arm Lock in on Beth, and she tags Kelly in . Gail and Kelly whip Beth into a corner, and mGail lands her Horizontal Body Smash on her, and Kelly uses a Hurricanrana into a pin fall for a two count as Beth comes out of the corner.. Kelly attempts a Headscissors Takedown off the ropes from the corner, but Beth counters into a Backbreaker for a two count. Beth hammers away at Kelly before lifting her off the mat and slamming her back-first into her corner before tagging in Rosa. Rosa lands some hard shots to Kelly using her gloves, but Kelly fights back and uses a Clothesline before tagging Mickie in. Alicia is also tagged in, and Mickie lands a few jabs to Alicia, knocking her down eventually.

Mickie is on fire, as she knocks Rosa off of the apron. Mickie goes to backhand Beth, but Beth drops to the floor before Mickie can do so. Mickie lands her Arm-Trap Neckbreaker on Alicia until Beth breaks it up as Mickie goes for a cover. Beth begins to hammer away at Mickie, until Mickie gets some retribution and hammers back at Beth, toGail who uses a Front Dropkick on Beth off of the top rope. At the same time, Kelly takes care of Rosa, Dropkicking her off of the apron before exiting the ring herself. Mickie uses a Louise Thesz Press on Alicia, before hammering away at her. Mickie tries to throw Alicia in the corner, but Alicia counters, and she throws Mickie into the corner's steel post shoulder first. Alicia capitalizes on Mickie being knocked out, and she lands a huge Running Axe Kick across her neck for the three count at the 2:33 mark.


Winners: Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox, & Rosa Mendes at 2:33 after Fox pinned Mickie James with a Scissors Kick

WWE Diva Gail Kim

Kim is a 10-year veteran. She started in the WWE, but left to perform for the smaller rival company TNA for years, where she became its top women's wrestler. Now, she is back in the WWE and looking to reclaim the title that she held many years ago. She called

MSN: What made you want to return to the WWE?

Kim: It's the No. 1 company in the world and I had worked for them previously. So I felt like I had a little something to prove when I came back, that I'm a different wrestler now and that I've grown so much. Also, I wanted to work with people I had wrestled with in the past, like Mickie James, Beth Phoenix and Melina.

MSN: Is it a different vibe between WWE and TNA?

Kim: Definitely. TNA is smaller. WWE is a bigger production and you get many more fans. It's so exciting to perform in front of so many people. It is what we thrive off of.

MSN: You recently got your first title shot since coming back. Do you feel that it took too long to happen or do you understand that you need to re-prove yourself?

Kim: Being in this business, I learned one lesson: Patience is something you need to acquire. Everyone wants it now, but when it happens, you realize it is worth the wait. Also, I think the WWE fans now are more different. There are more families and it was a different generation. A lot of people didn't know who I was from my previous stint in the WWE. So, a lot of people had to get to know me again. I like it because I have a fresh new slate.
